About My Business:
We offer one-on-one personal training sessions that last either 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on your needs. We can get together as many times a week as you need (we usually suggest 2-3 training sessions per week to get started). In addition to personal training, we offer small group training sessions that are supervised while the participants exercise (mostly) independently. We can talk about what fits best for you. We firmly believe that our first responsibility as your personal trainer is to be a good listener...to understand what you are going through both physically and mentally. Our second role as your personal trainer is that of a teacher...so you'll learn which muscles we're emphasizing, how form and technique play a role, and we'll try to tie it in to what you've already learned. We are also going to be your biggest cheerleaders (our third role is that of motivator!) as you overcome physical challenges and learn a new way to think about exercise!

Maggie Rappaport is co-owner of The Training Zone, a personal fitness studio in Tucson, Arizona, and has been certified by the American Council on Exercise since 1990. As a personal trainer, she develops programs for clients with varied fitness programs and goals, from the beginning exerciser to the very fit. Over her years of experience she has worked closely with special needs clients, including those who wish to make the transition from physical therapy to a regular exercise program, as well as clients with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, strokes, and a variety of injuries. �The most important step of putting a program together is to listen to my clients and find out where they are in terms of fitness goals and where they would like to be.� Maggie includes the proper mix of strength, flexibility, cardiovascular, and balance training to help clients meet their specific goals. Her clients enjoy their exercise sessions and describe them as �creative� and �fun.�

Maggie is a 1993 graduate of the University of Arizona and holds a bachelor's degree in Music Education. As the baby boomer generation is getting older, the importance of a relationship between the fitness community and the medical field is growing. Maggie is studying for American Council on Exercise's advanced certification, the Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist (formerly known as Clinical Exercise Specialist). She already has many years of experience working in tandem with physicians as part of her clients' wellness plan, but this advanced certificate will allow her an even greater level of expertise.

I understand that the majority of Find My Fitness Trainer's in home Personal Trainers charge rates on average between $65-$95 per session. Studio Personal Training ranges from $55-$75 per session. In major metro cities like Los Angeles and NYC it is common to pay on average an additional $20 per session from the previously quoted rates. Most of Find My Fitness Trainer's Personal Trainers also offer half hour rates and Personal Training packages that can help lower overall cost per session, and I also understand that I need to make sure that I have properly budgeted for the professional services I am seeking before I make my Personal Trainer submission request.
